The North Carolina Voter Project is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization working to make voter registration more accessible and cost-effective across our state. While traditional methods remain valuable, there’s always room for innovation—so we’re meeting people where they are. Using simple yet effective tools like text messaging, we connect directly with eligible voters in North Carolina to help them get registered and ready to vote. By combining technology with research—such as randomized control trials—we’re continually improving our outreach to build a more effective and inclusive voter engagement model, not just for 2026 but for years to come.
